Candied Apple Muffins

Candied Apple Muffins
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease muffin cups or line with muffin liners.
Mix the following ingredients in a mixing bowl
· 1 cup all-purpose flour
· 3/4 cup white sugar
· 1/2 teaspoon salt
· 2 teaspoons baking powder
· 2 tablespoons of Candied Apple Nutzez Almond Butter

Put the following in a 1 cup measuring cup
· 1/3 cup vegetable oil
· 1 egg
· 1 teaspoon vanilla
· Fill the measuring cup up with milk (about 1/3 cup)

Add the liquid ingredients to the flour mixture. Mix until flour mixture is moist.
Fold in 1/2 cup fresh apples sliced, 1/2 fresh blueberries

Crumb Topping (you can add 1/3 cup oatmeal if you want)
· 1/2 cup splenda brown sugar
· 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
· 1/4 cup butter, cubed
· 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
· 2 tablespoons of Candied Apple Nutzez Almond Butter
· Mix together brown sugar, flour, butter, almond butter, and cinnamon. Mix with fork, and sprinkle over muffins before baking.
