    This is the most incredible flavor I’ve had yet! I’ve loved all the flavors (except mint ones, but that’s just a personal thing on my part) but this one really knocked it out of the park!! Love to just eat it right out of the jar after a workout. So delish!! Pinned to my pintrest board too so I’m hoping more people find it – it’s just that good!! Keep up the good work!!

    I really want to try this, but I saw that it contains agave nectar. Is it overly sweet? I generally avoid sugar substitutes because I don’t care for the taste. I have tried agave nectarin iced tea, but I didn’t care for it.

    Tara – There is only a very small amount of agave nectar used to make my French Toast flavor. This butter does not have a sweet taste at all. Like you, I do not care for the sweet flavors or sugar substitutes. I took great care in developing this flavor to have the perfect blend. Having been diabetic since the age of three, I am very sensitive to overly sweet tastes, and have used only the finest ingredients in my products. I hope you give it a try, the French Toast Almond butter flavor is one of my biggest sellers.

    I just heard about this while listening to WAMC. I was particularly interested in the founder and that she is diabetic. And a personal trainer. I too am diabetic and do Water Aerobics every day. And have battled with what I need to eat to keep my sugars from dropping. I have met with dietitians and asked how to adjust my crabs, protein etc. And have yet to find an answer. Nothing has ever been mentioned about fat content. Thanks for some new breaking news.

    Thank you for your interest and support! Adding healthy fats to my diet has helped immensely. Healthy fats such as almond butter, avocado and coconut oil assist in stabilizing blood sugars. They are slowly digested which help prevent blood sugars raises and drops after eating carbs. Carbs will increase your blood sugar but if they aren’t paired with a healthy fat, will eventually bring sugar levels back down. I eat a tbsp of almond butter every 3 hrs four times a day. My sugars stay very consistent without the need for carbs. Feel free to email me personally and we can talk more about your specific needs. Hope this helps!
